Orissa International assisted a German company renowned for its expertise in developing advanced fire detection and firefighting systems, with over 17,000 installations worldwide. Specializing in active fire detection and suppression solutions tailored for railway vehicles, they offer diverse systems including high-pressure water mist, inert gas, and aerosols, ensuring effective and reliable fire safety across various train compartments. Interested in finding partners in the Philippines, they enlisted Orissa International to undertake a business matching project. We identified 28 potential partners ranging from importers and distributors of fire protection systems to engineering service providers, serving sectors such as transportation, construction, and security. After prequalifying their interest, we arranged meetings with various Philippine-based companies and organizations. These included electro-mechanical engineering service providers, distributors of railway equipment and fire protection systems, as well as the lead government agency for fire safety enforcement, and a metropolitan development authority overseeing urban management and infrastructure.
